Hi Mike, 

Are you facing this issue with latest version (18.1.53) of document editor source? If so, kindly share the SFDT json file to reproduce the reported issue in our end. It will be helpful for us to proceed further on this.

Hello Harini!

I'm currently using the version 18.1.0.52.

FYI it works when I manually declare a variable, set the json and open the json in the documentEditor but when the json comes from the service url it gives me an error.
