Animating the chart

Hi there,

Is there any way for the SFChart's line to animate by performing a wiggly motion similar to how it's done on the Dark Sky app with their precipitation chart?

For example, in the below shot, the Dark Sky chart isn't actually static but it's animating to feel more like it's rain being monitored within it.

Dark Sky for iOS

Fingers crossed.

Bardi

Hi Bardi Golriz,

Greetings from Syncfusion.

We would like to let you know that we don’t have access permission for Dark Sky Weather application. We suspect that your requirement is ‘’Need to animate the chart while dynamically update”.

If we misunderstood your query means, can you please share more details regarding your requirement with any gif or video representation which will be helpful for us to understand your exact requirement?

Thanks,
Lavanya A.

Not exactly. The data is static but instead of static lines, I'd like for them to wiggle to give the effect/feeling of actual rain. Please see attached.

Thank you for the continued follow-up. Looking forward to developments, and hope you are able to figure it out. I know it isn't essential, but it would make a big difference from a UX perspective if this is made possible.

Thanks for looking into this.

Is there any plans to support such behaviour in a future update? Or is this not going to happen? Because if it's not on the roadmap, I may have to reconsider the chart control I'm depending on.
