Control loses style when modal dialog is displayed

I have a wpf window that contains an IntegerTextBox that is styled with one of the dark themes.


If the window opens a another modal window on top of it the IntegerTextBox immediately loses is style.


This happens with other controls like UpDown and ComboBoxAdv.

Is there a fix for this?

We have checked your query “Style of IntegerTextBox disappears when a new window is opened ” and we are unable to reproduce the issue. We assigned a style with a dark theme to IntegerTextBox as you have mentioned in your update. Please check the below sample and let us know if we are missing any details, It will be helpful for us to proceed further.

Thank you for the quick response. I am able to reproduce the issue by modifying your sample.

First, I set the main window style in the code behind instead of in xaml.

Second, I created a new window and set it's style in code behind. That is the window that the main window opens.

I need to set the style at runtime. Maybe this is not the correct way to do that.

We are glad to announce that reported issue ” BackColor for theme applied IntegerTextBox is removed when a new window with theme is opened” has been fixed and included in our Essential Studio 2020 Volume 2 Release v18.2.0.44 and is available for download under the following link.
