Dropdown Column coulnt filter in grid.

Here is my grid Control;


Last Column is dropdown cloumn. every thing is working normal except i can't filter this column on grid like in this picture;


When i am filtering no records found;

I would like to knwo how i can filter this drop down column.

We have validated your query with the provided details and you are facing the issue while trying to filter the foreignkey column. We have checked the reported problem and we could not reproduce the reported problem. Find the below sample for your reference. 



If you are still facing the same problem, then could you please share the below details. It will be helpful to validate and provide a better solution. 

  • Full Code snippets with DataSource details.
  • Reproduce the reported problem in the provided sample if possible.

Hi thanks for attention,

Problem is here;


Grid Data Souce  : "fakulteDtos"
Dropdown Column data source : universiteDtos

Both this data source has "Isim" property 
So when second column ForeignKeyValue=Isim  Grid thinks that there is two same name column.

When i delete first column it is working.

In this case will you fix this issue as a bug or Should i change my propery names?

We are able to reproduce the reported issue at our end. We have considered it as a bug and logged defect report for the same “Foreign key column filtering is not working when Field and ForeignKeyValue has the same value”. At Syncfusion, we are committed to fixing all validated defects (subject to technological feasibility and Product Development Life Cycle ) and including the defect fix in our 2020 Volume 2 Release scheduled at the end of June, 2020.
