PdfViewer via Iframe - How to access sessionData in PdfViewerController
Hello,
Attachment: PdfViewerViaIframe_2528736e.zip
regarding my other thread 152943 - Using PdfViewer in a DevExpress Callback, we have a first workaround.
We are able to use the PdfViewer in a callback, if we put the PdfViewer in an Iframe.
My problem now is the following:
We have the pdf-data in an bytearray in the session-data. Unfortunately we cannot access the session-data in the PdfViewerController.
Is there a way to access the data? Do you have another idea to pass the data to the Pdfviewer?
Thanks a lot
Matthias

Hi Matthias ,
Thank you for your patience.
We can get the session data in aspx page using javascript then we can pass the same into the sever side using documentPath or load() API in the PDF Viewer. We have created the sample for the same and shared in the below link,
Please try it and revert us with more details if you need any further assistance.

Hi Akshaya,
thank you for your help. Works now :-)
One more thing. I found a bug in your localization.
In file ej.localetexts.de-DE.min.js the text for waitingPopup is not in german, looks like danish for me.
waitingPopup:{print:{contentText:"Forbereder dokument til udskrivning ..."}}
Is here the right place or shall i report the bug somewhere else?
Thanks.

Hi Matthias
Thank you for your patience.
We can provide the localization for the PDF Viewer control in the sample level. Please refer to the below link for more details,
Similarly we can provide the localization text for German culture. Also we will change the localization text from our side. Please try it and revert us with more details if you need any further assistance.

Akshaya
