License error when run on a real device.

Hi,

I have spent a day on trying to fix this. My app runs fine in the emulators (iOS simulator and Genymotion Android emulator) but I get the following when running on a real device:

Here is the full stack trace:

  at Syncfusion.Licensing.FusionLicenseProvider.GetProjectKeyType (System.String key, System.String version) [0x0001d] in :0

I do not want to attach my project here so can I please email it to you? I have created a test project that does not show the problem which is attached.

Thanks

Mark.

Hi,

Thank you very much for getting back to me.

Originally both my test project and my main project showed the problem. I had rebooted and cleaned VS etc and the problem remained during my testing. Magically my test project came right and then my main project came right.  I have no clue as to how the problem fixed itself.

Have you had any reports of similar behavior?

Thanks

Mark.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the update.

We have checked your sample, but we are not able to reproduce the reported issue and we do not get any error report like this. So, can you please share the issue reproducing sample with a detailed replication procedure for us and share what are the Syncfusion controls that you have used in a project. This will be helpful for us to provide a better solution.

Regards,
Ramya S.

Update: This happens whenever I want to deploy to a real device. It is happening on multiple Dev machines and multiple solutions.

The fix is to do a deep clean:

1. Exit VS.
2. Del all OBJ folders.
3. Del Bin folders.
4. Del .vs folder.

Thanks

Mark.
