Localisation not applied on full reload

Hi,

i just one of your examples of another forum thread, where was the localisation described.

I tried the example (attached) and the localisation is only working after navigating in the menu. That is also the behavior i am facing.

When you do a full page reload, the customized localisation is not used. Can you have a look?

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support. 

We suggest you to ensure to clear the browser cache before running the application in your machine. We tried running the attached sample, and the localization applies fine for Grid at initial load.  
 
Please refer the screenshot below, 

 

We are not clear about the this line query “and the localisation is only working after navigating in the menu.”. Could you please explain us what you refer by “menu”. And also if you are still facing difficulties, kindly share with us the following details for better assistance. 
  1. Share with us a video demo showing the problem you are facing.
  2. Share the exact scenario/proper replication procedure.

Thanks for your update. 
 
As updated in our previous update, the same problem in your shared video will be reproduced only when containing cache data in the browser. We have prepared a video demo illustrating this behaviour, when cache data is not cleared the problem will occur, and once we clear the browser cache the issue won’t be reproduced. 
 
Please download the video illustrating this scenario from the link below, 
 
Note : You can also check the same by opening in your Incongnito browser window.  
 
So we suggest you to clear the complete browser cache data and also clear your Nuget cache to overcome the problem you are facing.

Hi,

i just tried again inncognito and still the same behavior. I cannot really tell my customers to clear all browsing data. So on which kind of data, the sycnfusion controls decide for the current culture? If i log the culture with @Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentCulture.Name
i see that the right culture is used, but the controls show the wrong translations..?

Hi,

I use version 18.1.0.48 and I got the same problem.

Grid translations are good only when you go on site via menu and after grid was rendered before. When you go directly on page with grid, translations are not working.

We are able to reproduce the reported problem at initial rendering of Grid. We have confirmed this as a defect “Server side Localization not working in initial Grid rendering” and logged a defect report for the same. At Syncfusion, we are committed to fixing all validated defects (subject to technological feasibility and Product Development Life Cycle ) and including the defect fix in our upcoming 2020 Volume 2 Main Release.
