ejGrid with Excel Filters : How to create custom filtering options (on date columns)?

Hello,

I'm looking for the right way to create custom filtering options in the excel filters:

My need is :

When the user type a year only and click "ok" or another button and it create the filter : "all the row where the year is the year typed"

If it's not possible by this way an other possibilities will be to have a menu with all the year and by click on a year item it create the filter.

QUERY: custom filter options


We do not have support for searching with the year value alone in excel filter of grid.
