Filter Value lost after filter is set.

Hi Syncfusion Team,

I have issue when dealing with the filter of a grid. According to the example given, I did the following steps to reproduce the issue:-

1. I select filter type to Excel, 
2. I select filter column Customer Name (Filters.png). Text Filter > Starts With...
3. Enter in any value, in this case, I enter a random string (Filters 2.png)
4. The filter is working.
5. I open the same filter again (Open the same filter.png).
6. The value is lost (Filters value lost.png).

How can I retain the value after the filter is set? I have tried enable-persistence, but that is not the result I wanted.

Attached with the relevant screenshot for the above case.

Appreciate your help on this.

Already we have logged “Filtered value not saved in excel filtering” as bug. We will include the fix in our April 15, 2020 patch release.

We are glad to announce that our Essential Javascript2 patch release (v18.4.35) has been rolled out successfully and in that release we have added the fix “Filtered value not saved in excel filtering”. So please update your package to this version to include the fix.
