details on controls in preview

Hello,

My team and I are looking into using Syncfusion controls in our application. Some of the controls we're interested in are marked as "preview" in the demos; these controls are:

• combobox
  
• multiselect
  
• gant chart
  
• menubar
  
• filemanager
  
• splitter
  
• file upload
  

These are the questions that are on our mind at the moment:

What is the current status of these controls?

Is there a release date set for them?

These controls have multiple features, is any feature set released?

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support. Please find the below response 

 

Combobox, Multiselect and File upload 

 

Query 1: What is the current status of these controls?   

Answer: In our combobox, multiselect and file upload component are ready to publish the release.  

 

Query 2: Is there a release date set for them?   

Answer: Yes, we will release these components in our upcoming Volume-1, 2020 main release. Which is expected to roll out on end of March 2020.  

  

Query 3: These controls have multiple features, is any feature set released?  

 Answer: Most common features are already given in the mentioned components. and we have multiselect components generic type and template features enhancement state. These features are will be expected to roll out our next volume 2, 2020 main release.  

 

Gantt chart 

 

Query 1: What is the current status of these controls?  

Solution: Currently Gantt component is in preview state. We are working for Gantt deployment with its basic features.  

  

Query 2: Is there a release date set for them?   

Solution: We will release Gantt component in our Volume 2 main release which is expected to be rolled at the month of June, 2020.  

  

Query 3: These controls have multiple features, is any feature set released?  

Solution: We will include the major features related to project view in this release and later wards, we will include the additional features in every release based on customer demands. 

 

Splitter 

 

Query 1: “*What is the current status of these controls?”  

  

The Splitter component is in production-ready state will be released with the upcoming release.  

  

Query 2: “Is there a release date set for them?”  

  

Yes, we will release the splitter component in upcoming Volume 1 2020 main release expected to roll out at the end of March.  

  

Query 3: “These controls have multiple features, is any feature set released? “  

  

The splitter will be released with all its existing features included. 

 

File Managaer & Menubar 

 

We are moving our each component from Preview state to final based on planned future completion. We will mark FileManager component to final state in our Volume 2 2020 Release. Please be patience, until then.
