Show "Arithmetic result exceeded 32 bits." error in IE when chunk upload big file

Hi,

I have a problem when using the uploader in IE11, that show "Arithmetic result exceeded 32 bits." error  when I chunk upload a 5G size file, my chunk size is 200K.

I think this is your bug in IE, the chrome is fine.

Will you fix this problem ? Maybe also have problem with ASP.NET MVC uploader.

Hi lorryl,

Greetings from the Syncfusion support.

We would like to inform you that, the issue occurs due to the uploader file size restriction in the IE browser. Kindly refer the below Microsoft link for more details.

Hence, the issue is not related to our end.

But I am using chunk uploader, that uploading 200K file size every time, not all the file size, how can it exceed the limit ?

I don't want to use the sliced into pieces method. Is there really no other way for IE ?

Hi lorryl,

We would like to inform you that, the IE browser checks the file size before start of the uploading or Chunk uploading. So browser restrict the file from uploading, if the file size is greater than 4GB.  As we mentioned earlier this is the default behavior of IE browser.
