DataGrid - Datamanager - Emitted javascript error

This grid for some reason after upgrading to asp.net core 3.1 breaks with a weird message related to 'var' when debugging it's pointing to a DataManager instance emitted by the control to fetch the data... It was working just fine before upgrading.  I do have other grids working.  The only difference between either grid is they are located in different parts of the site.. More specifically in a normal link vs an Area.  There is literally no difference between either than that.

Hi Morgan,

Using Datamanager in the Grid, we bind the URL Adapter with 3.1 framework in the ASP.Net Core platform, but the ' var ' message is not shown in the Datamanager.
We have prepared a sample with your requirement and referred the latest Syncfusion nuget(v17.4.55) package. Please refer the below sample for more information.

For your reference we have shared the DataManager seriliazation details in below screenshot

  1. Provide more information or video to demonstrate your reproduced demo sample and code.
  2. Ensure the Script version from Layout page and nuget version.
  3. Share the reproduced steps

I figured this out.  It had to do with having an "Id" on the DataManager where it didn't belong.  Had nothing to do with versioning of the library.  FYI it wasn't hand coded in JS either.  This was emitted based on the helper tags.

Hi Morgan,

Already we have faced this issue in the Datamanager with older version of Syncfusion package then we have fixed that issue and rolled-out that fix in next patch release of issue reproducing version. Since we suggest you to upgrade our latest package version(v17.4.55).

If you facing same error in your end. Please share the video demonstration of that issue reproduce.
