Removing? Deleting Uploaded Images

Hello,

Is there a mechanism to alert the backend server to delete removed images in the text editor, Because when i add images, the images is uploaded to the server succesfully but when i remove the image in editor it gets removed in the editor but still exists in the backend server.

Currently, we don’t have any built-in solution for removing the saved images from the server and an alert for image being removed. We have considered this as a feature request from our end and logged the report for the same and it will be included in our Volume 1 release.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.    
  
We could not include the fix with our Volume 1 release, due to complexity on implementing the feature from our end. We will resolve and include the fix in our patch release scheduled to roll-out on second week of April 2020.

Thanks for your patience,

We have implemented the feature with a new API afterImageDelete with Rich Text Editor, in which the event will hit when the image is removed from the content and the fix is available with the package version 18.1.44.

Can you please upgrade the package to this version check this from your end?
