Task displays incorrect end date when assigned to multiple employees, and only a subset of those employees are displayed in the ResourceView

Hi

We want to be able to allow our users to filter the ResourceView such that only a subset of employees are displayed at any given time.

If we have a task with 2 employees assigned to it, the task duration was 8 hours and we had both users displayed in the chart, the task would be displayed as a 4 hour task for both employees.

If we only load 1 of those employees into the ResourceView then that same task will be displayed as a 8 hour task, even though it should be displayed as a 4 hour task.

This happens even though the dataSource items has 2 separate resouces on it.

We have analyzed your query. Currently we don’t have support for splitting work duration with available resources.  

  

Note: We are migrated to EJ2 Gantt, hence no more new features or usability support will be logged for EJ1 Gantt.  

 

But we will consider this support in our EJ2 Gantt. We have logged a feature report for this. You can track the status of these feature from below feedback link.

As we have already lined up with some major features, we could not start this feature immediately. We will implement this support and include in any our upcoming releases.
