What to do if web page running on a machine have no internet access to fonts.googleapis.com

I've used Syncfusion Angular Dashboard layout and pie chart components.  The required material.css all tries to import from https://fonts.googleapis.com/css.

On normal PCs with internet access, the web page loads successfully and fast.  However, if running on machines without internet access, the web page waits the timeout limit to finally show up, which is not acceptable.  For this kind of instance, what would you recommend to do?

Hi Rong,

We have checked your reported problem and unable to reproduce it. We don’t need any dependent style packages other than material.css. For your reference, we have prepared a sample using DashboardLayout component using pie chart.

Refer the sample link below.

Can you please check the above sample. If we misunderstand your requirement. Can you please share the additional details regarding your requirement. It will helpful for us to resolve your at earliest.
1.      Component you have used in your application.
2.      Issue reproducing video footage.
3.      Package version used in your application
4.      Code snippet for referring the styles in your application.

To more about the DashboardLayout component. Refer the below links.

Sorry, my previous description is not clear.  What I meant to ask is any suggestions for using Syncfusion components on an offline site.

For example, using your provided example, the built dist folder is on a local Centos 7 linux machine, which is intentionally set up to only has LAN access, no WAN access.  So if user tries to access google.com through Firefox, user gets 'a site can't be reached.'  Since Syncfusion material.css has '@import url("https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:400,500");' on the first line, the css get will fail, because fonts.googleapis.com can't be reached.  See below.  Firefox's default timeout is set to about 3 minutes.  It took almost 3 minutes to show the page.

Hi Rong,

We have checked your reported problem. For your information, we have provided this link for the fonts in our material theme. Hence if you don’t want this link and to use the material theme means we have a customized material theme file for this same theme you are using. In this file, that link will not be used. This is available in our @syncfusion/ej2-material-theme package from npm.

You can install this theme separately and then take that file from the customized folder and then paste it in your application material style. Hence this will resolve your issue.

Please see the below link for more reference

Note: This online link is not available in our other themes but available only in material theme

Please, let us know if you need any further assistance.

When trying to use [email protected] I'm getting:

warning in ./node_modules/@syncfusion/ej2-material-theme/styles/customized/material.css

Module Warning (from ./node_modules/postcss-loader/src/index.js):

Hi Gal,

We have validated your reported query and are unable to replicate the reported warning at our end. For your reference, we have created a small angular application with our components in your reported package version which is working fine at our end. You can find the sample at the below link.
