How to lock focus on text input

Hello,

Is there any way to lock focus on the chat text input? I would like to keep "focus" on the text input so that users can type messages continuously.

sfChat.focus(); doesn't seem to work.

We would like to confirm your requirement “After message is sent the keyboard should not close and focus is in Editor” ? else we need more clarification about your requirement.

After the chat page is established the keyboard should be shown and after message is sent the keyboard should not close and focus is in Editor.

Those two are my requirements.

We have already logged a requested feature “After Message sent the keyboard is should not close and focus is in Editor” and considered to implement this support. We will implement this feature in our 2020 Volume 2 release which is expected to be available in June 2020. We appreciate your patience until then.
