Change Frozen (Pinned) columns side or set from both sides

Hi Team !

We would like to freeze columns from both sides of the grid.

Is it possible with the current version ?
If no, is it in your current roadmap ?

For example:
A user can freeze columns to the left side (like your default one) or the right side or maybe both sides?

Thanks a lot !

Hi Mohamed,

Greetings from Syncfusion.

Query: A user can freeze columns to the left side (like your default one) or the right side or maybe both sides?

Currently freezing the right side columns is not supported in Grid. We have already added this in our feature request list and this feature will be included in any of our upcoming release. We appreciate your patience until then.

Hi Rahul !

Thanks for your reply but the feedback 2443 "Support to Freeze columns to the Right Side of Grid" was created on December 2018 !
I've already tested it by changing ".e-grid .e-frozencontent", it's not as i expect but it's work.

We need to have the choice between both side per column. Do you know how long do we have to wait ? Is it in an early roadmap or just in a todo list ?

Hi Mohamed,

Thanks for the update.

In EJ2 the frozen Grid has a variety of table components such as a frozen header table, movable header table,  frozen content table and a movable column table. In this case, if we want to implement frozen columns on the right, we need to include the table element more in the grid and make it more complicated to manage in our current grid source & it is complex to handle UI related changes also.

So, we do not have any immediate plans to implement this feature in our side and sorry for the inconvenience.

Please get back to us, if you need any further assistance.
