Is their any thing that will merge two cells or rows of inserted table in rich text editor

Hello sir,

  I want to merge two cell of table added into rich text editor using insert table property. also their is no option for edit/customization table column, row border .

  I am using 

    table:['TableHeader', 'TableRows', 'TableColumns', 'BackgroundColor', '-', 'TableRemove', 'Alignments', 'TableCellVerticalAlign', 'Styles', 'TableEditProperties'],

  this in quickToolbarSettings

You can customize the cells in row and column borders using the templates in QuickToolbar. We have also prepared a sample based on your requirements.

     Thank you for the sample. I have checked the sample in which I found some problem with this when I tried to apply cell border to cell which are in middle of table it is not applying border to all sides. To fix this I have to add cell spacing to table. please refer attached screenshot (name- Border not applying to all side.jpg )

     I have also attached some screenshot of my implementation and also shared Resource file that I have used to create that sample. In that I have used ej.web.all.min.js in which we have option to edit table properties (Refer screen shot > old implementation - edit  table properties.jpg) we can apply properties separately for Table, Row, Column, Is their any way to achieve same using https://cdn.syncfusion.com/ej2/dist/ej2.min.js ?

Query 1: “Cell border not applied properly“ 

We have validated your reported query, the cell border is not applied properly since the default border styles of the table override the border color. To resolve this issue, you can set the border as “1px double red“. We have also modified the sample which is shared already.

Query 2: “Table row and column customization like EJ1“ 

 

Since the above solution is a workaround for applying the cell borders. For Full-fledged customization of table’s cell, row and column like EJ1 RichTextEditor, we have considered this as a feature request from our end and logged the report for the same and it will be included in any of our upcoming releases.

          Query 2:

              We have clear formatting option in ej2 is their any option for copy formatting.
