Date selection is not firing for current date

Hi,

I have downloaded Essential UI Kit. In Forms --> Add Contact Page, the date picker control is not working if i select the current date.

For example, today 18-Feb-2020. If I choose 18-Feb-2020, then calender is closed but the value is not set in Textbox.

I have attached the code I got from the sample.

Can someone help me..
