EditControl text slow to update with high resolution screen

I have a WPF application using a Syncfusion WPF EditControl, The size of the control is about 2/3rds of the screen when app is maximized. The control is populated with lines of text that cause vertical scroll bar appear, each line of text is shorter than width of the control maximized so no horizontal scrollbar. My monitor setting is 1920x1080. If I try to type in the EditControl, the text render is slow, like the words are “sticky”. If the text amount is huge (like 1000+ lines in the control), typing in this control will cause screen to freeze for a while before updating the screen with new text. On monitor with screen resolution at 1280x1024 does not have this problem, changing resolution from 1920x1080 solves the problem. But I hope to find a way to make it work With high resolution such as 1920x1080, since that might be what clients are using.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support.

We have checked your query “EditControl freezes when typing value at 1920x1080 resolution” . This is known internal issue which has been fixed and currently in testing phase. The fix will be included in Volume 1 release which will roll out by end of March 2020. We appreciate your patience until then.

Regards,
Senthil
