Saving bullet lists as RTF does not work

Hi,

I believe I have found a defect in the SfRichTextBoxAdv control for WPF. We are using Syncfusion.SfRichTextBoxAdv.WPF version 17.4.0.44.

Using this code sample: https://pastebin.com/bdnUDqYW (which was modified from the example in the documentation) I am adding a bullet point list to the text box.
The list displays correctly and behaves as one would expect.

However, when I save the document as an RTF file, the bullet point list does not get saved, only the list contents - not the bullets.
For example:
  • Item 1
  • Item 2
  • Item 3

Will get saves as:

Item 1
Item 2
Item 3

Is this due to a configuration mistake? Or is this a known defect?

Thanks,
Josh

Hi Josh,

Thank you for your patience,

We have fixed the issue with Programmatically created bullet lists are not serialized while exporting and the patch can be downloaded from the following location.

Recommended approach - exe will perform automatic configuration
Please find the patch setup from below location:
http://syncfusion.com/Installs/support/patch/17.4.0.39/1221442/F151168/SyncfusionPatch_17.4.0.39_1221442_2132020094936411_F151168.exe

Nuget packages

Advanced approach – use only if you have specific needs and can directly replace existing assemblies for your build environment
Please find the patch assemblies alone from below location:

Assembly Version: 17.4.0.39

Installation Directions :
This patch should replace the files “Syncfusion.SfRichTextBoxAdv.WPF” under the following folder.

$system drive:\Program Files (x86)\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\WPF\$Version # \precompiledassemblies\4.6

Eg : $system drive:\Program Files (x86)\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\WPF\ 17.4.0.39\precompiledassemblies\4.6

To automatically run the Assembly Manager, please check the Run assembly manager checkbox option while installing the patch. If this option is unchecked, the patch will replace the assemblies in precompiled assemblies’ folder only. Then, you will have to manually copy and paste them to the preferred location, or you will have to run the Syncfusion Assembly Manager application (available from the Syncfusion Dashboard, installed as a shortcut in the Application menu) to re-install assemblies.
