How to add Node at run time from SymbolPalette?
How to add SymbolPalette Symbols to exsisting Nodecollection /Nodes which are in different Layers once the symbol is dropped on the Diagram in DragEnter Event?

Hi Mounika,
By default, when we drag a node from the symbol palette and drop it onto the diagram, it will be automatically added into the nodes collection. We need not use any event to update the nodes collection. We have created a sample in which we have rendered the symbol palette and the diagram control. We have added a button to know the nodes count in the diagram. Please refer to a sample below.

After drag and drop of rectangle node to the diagram,It shows TypeError :'parentNode' of null .Please verify the sample code

Reported Issue : Exception raised while drag and drop a node from palette onto the diagram locked layer
We can reproduce the issue. We have confirmed this as a defect. We have logged a defect report for this issue. We will fix this issue and provide the patch on 11th February,2020 weekly patch release.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Due to technical issues, the reported issue will not be available in the current weekly patch release. However, the fix will be included in our next weekly patch release scheduled on 18th February, 2020.
