Outline Number

I have a question that is likely to betray my n00b status re Doc IO but hey! Grateful for any help..!

I have an existing document and am trying to scan through looking for outline numbers.

So I have Heading 1,Heading 2,Heading 3 ... etc. and they have outline numbers 1.,  1.1,   1.1.1,    etc.

I can scan through the document looking for Heading 1, Heading 2, etc and can read the paragraph text.

I can get the outline level  (WParagraph.Paragraphformat.OutlineLevel = Level1, Level2, Level3 etc.)

Can anyone tell me how on earth I can get the outline number? 1.1.1 etc.? I have tried every property and just can't work it out.

Maybe I need to keep my own count as I scan through?
