Incorrect presentation of group on grid with pagination

There is a bug in the ej1 grid, if the grid is supported to form groups and has pagination, if you collapse a group, the group is not fully collapsed and the other groups do not appear on the grid.

This can be checked on the example grid on your site, just collapse one group and change pages ... or just collapse one group, the other group will not appear on the grid page.

I can't post the link from your site examples because it's returning error 503 in the URL: ( https://mvc.syncfusion.com/demos/web/ )

The same problem happens on ASP.Net webforms: https://aspnetcore.syncfusion.com/grid/grouping

See in the DevExpress and Telerik Grid, they behave as experienced ... when the groups are being collected, will bring the groups from other pages ...: https://demos.devexpress.com/MVCxGridViewDemos/GroupingSorting/Grouping

Hi Alexandre,

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion forums.

QUERY: Incorrect presentation of group on grid with Paging

In grid, when we render grouping with paging, we peform grouping after paging only. Thus it has resulted in such a behaviour. If you need to perform grouping before paging, please check the below screenshot and sample,

You can use custom adaptor for achieving this requirement. In custom Adaptor, we can splice the paging query, process rest of the queries. After performing the other queries, we can process paging query.

Please check the below sample,

If you have further queries, please get back to us.
