Samsung Keyboard allow's to place commas or dot when we define 0 MaximumNumberDecimalDigits

Hello,

I have a SfNumericTextBox with the MaximumNumberDecimalDigits set to 0 and the SfNumericTextBox allows the user to place either a "," or "." and only after the user unfocus the field the number is rounded.

Hi Ivo,

Greetings from Syncfusion.

We are able to reproduce the issue “Numbers rounded in the SfNumericTextBox when entering value along with dot in the comma culture like French” at our end and we are validating the issue, we will update you the status on Oct 16th, 2019. In the meantime, Could you please confirm us whether the reported issue is reproduced when entering value along with comma (,) in the French culture?

Regards,

Lakshmi R.

Hi Lakshm,

I confirm that the issue happens with the French culture with the (,) separator. Same goes for the Portuguese-Portugal culture which also uses (,) as separator.

Best Regards,

Ivo Ventura

Hi Ivo,

We were able to reproduce the issue (The SfNumericTextBox value is rounded when entering number beyond the MaximumNumberDecimalDigits as zero with comma culture). We have confirmed this as an issue and logged bug report. We will provide the patch on 25th October 2019. You can track the bug status from the below link.

Feedback: https://www.syncfusion.com/feedback/9562/decimal-separator-is-not-properly-working-while-unfocus-the-control

If you have any more specification/precise replication procedure or a scenario to be tested, you can add it as a comment in the portal link above. We appreciate your patience until then.

Regards,

Lakshmi R.

Hi Ivo,

Sorry for the delay.

We were unable to push the fix to the weekly NuGet published on October 29, 2019. This will certainly move in the upcoming release of Volume 3 SP1, which is supposed to be available by the first week of November 2019.

We greatly appreciate your patience.

Thanks,
Rachel.

Hi Rachel,

Thanks for the update. Meanwhile we found a new issue:

If we just insert the "." and unfocus the field for some reason, it causes an internal error on the control and crashes our application.

Best Regards,
Ivo Ventura
