View A0 single page. Working with Magnify

Hy,

SfPdfViewer is an impressive control for displaying a document in A4 format consisting of one or more pages. However, if I want to view a large format pdf, such as a drawing in A0, I can magnify up to a certain size (up to 300 I Suppose) and then lose quality. Is this a control limit or am I wrong? thanks a lot in advance Rolando

We confirm that the issue of “Reducing quality of large dimension PDF document after magnification in PageByPage mode” in Xamarin Forms Android is  a defect and logged a defect report for the same. We will provide patch for this incident on 29^th October 2019. 

 

Meanwhile could you please confirm us whether the issue occurred in continuous mode display or PageByPage mode display?

The issue with "Reducing quality of large dimension PDF document after magnification in PageByPage mode" in Xamarin Forms Android has been fixed and the patch for this fix can be downloaded from the following location. 


 

Recommended approach - exe will perform automatic configuration

Installation Directions : 
This patch should replace the files “Syncfusion.Xamarin.SfPdfViewer.XForms.dll” and “Syncfusion.Xamarin.SfPdfViewer.XForms.Android.dll” under the following folder.
$system drive:\ Files\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\$Version # \precompiledassemblies\$Version#\4.6
Eg : $system drive:\Program Files\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\9.3.0.61\precompiledassemblies\9.3.0.61\4.0

To automatically run the Assembly Manager, please check the Run assembly manager checkbox option while installing the patch. If this option is unchecked, the patch will replace the assemblies in precompiled assemblies’ folder only. Then, you will have to manually copy and paste them to the preferred location or you will have to run the Syncfusion Assembly Manager application (available from the Syncfusion Dashboard, installed as a shortcut in the Application menu) to re-install assemblies.
