Excel Data Source is not find

Hi Support Team,

I'm using syncfusion version 3.2.0.71, i want to try to create a new dashboard in dashboard server, but i couldn't find excel data source.

I just can create data sources using Amazon Red Shift, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.

Is it really not available in this version? I also attached a picture to show you my available data source in my dashboard server.

Hi Juliana,  

 

Files type connection and Web data source types connection will be enable only when the Data Store settings information are saved in the Dashboard Server application. To enable the Excel connection, follow below steps. 

 

1.   In the Data Sources window click the Settings link to open the Data Store Settings window.

      

2. In the Data Store Settings window, configure your SQL credentials (like server name, user name and password) then click “Save” button to save your credentials.

 

3. Once the Data Store Settings information is saved, go back to your designer page and click “Refresh” icon like as below.

 

4. Now Excel connection type will be listed in the Data Sources. Click Excel and connect your Excel sheet in Designer.
