Hi Josip,
Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support.
Please try the below steps and let us know if this helps you.
1. Open Visual Studio.
2. Open Manage Extensions
For Visual Studio 2019: Extensions -> Manage Extensions / Extensions and Updates
For earlier versions of Visual Studio: Tools -> Extensions and Updates
3. Select the Installed tab on the left side and type “Syncfusion” in the search box.
4. Choose Windows Forms Extensions - Syncfusion and click uninstall if installed.
5. Once uninstalled, you can reinstall it from the below installed location by simply double click on “Syncfusion Windows Forms VSExtensions.vsix” and click Install.
Location: {Installed Drive}:\Program Files (x86)\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\{Platform}\{Version}\Utilities\Extensions\
Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\Windows\17.2.0.34\Utilities\Extensions\
6. Now open Visual Studio and check. You can create a new Syncfusion project using our Windows Forms Project Template.
If you create a project with NuGet as the option from “Assemblies From” option in Project Template Project Configuration Wizard, then you need to generate and register the license key before launch your application as described in the below given help link to avoid showing the trial license warning message.
Refer here and this blog post for understanding the licensing changes introduced in Essential Studio.
Note:
License registration is not required if you reference Syncfusion assemblies from Licensed setup (installed location). These licensing changes applicable to all evaluators who refers the Syncfusion assemblies from evaluation setup and those who use Syncfusion NuGet packages from nuget.org.
