Not correct SfExpander.Content height.
Hello,
Attachment: SfChips01_89b5b8c5.zip
I have SfChipGroup inside SfExpander.content inside SfListView. When chips are added to expanded expander the hight is not correctly calculated. With each new chip the size grow little bit (even if not necessary) and size grow even if chip is removed. If you close and expand expander the size is calculated correctly.
Please check attached sample.
Best regards,
Radek

Hi Radoslaw,
Sorry for wrong promised timeline in previous update.

Hi,
Is this issue resolved or still not working? I am having the same issue. Expander Content height is not set initially but when trying to collapse and expand it two three times it calculates the right content height.
Thank you

Hi Syed ,
Thanks for using Syncfusion Products.
We have fixed the reported issue in this forum on our Essential Studio 2019 Volume 3 Release version 17.3.0.14. Can you please update your application with latest Syncfusion version and check whether you are still facing the issue. If yes, we would request you to share the following details which would be better to provide the solution at the earlier as possible.
- Xaml and related code snippet used in your application.
- Xamarin.Forms version used.
- The issue reproducing specific device or platform.

Hi,
I am very interested in using the full version of Syncfusion's Xamarin UI and have been testing it out with my current development however I have been experiencing the same issue in XF.UWP when hiding/showing
StackLayouts, within an Expander.Content using IsVisible. Expander does not
resize to content, however if I move the contents outside of the
Expander it readjusts just fine as it should. The only way to resize is to drag the Application's Window's edge manually and the Expander automatically fixes it's height. Additionally, when forced to readjust height by dragging the windows edge, the Expander.Content remains fixed to the largest stacklayout's height leaving a large blank area between affected Expander.Content and whatever content follows. Any help figuring out how to trigger that resize without extra interaction would be greatly appreciated.

Brandon

Hi Brandon,
Thank you for using Syncfusion products.
We have checked the reported query “Expander content does not resize properly” from our end. We would like to let you know that we are unable to reproduce the reported issue in our sample and Expander content size updated as expected. We have attached the tested sample for your reference. You can download them in the following link,
Sample Link: https://www.syncfusion.com/downloads/support/directtrac/general/ze/ExpanderVSM616908296
Meanwhile, we suggest you to set DynamicSizeMode as Content for Expander to update the content size at run time.
Please check the sample and let us know if you still facing the same issue? If not, please modify our sample to replicate the issue and share the following details to check further,
- Could you share ListView related ItemTemplate
- Please share issue replicating sample
- Share the issue reproducing video (if possible)
- Share Xamarin.Forms and Syncfusion updated version
It will be helpful for us to check on it and provide you the solution at the earliest.

Lakshmi Natarajan

Hi Lakshmi,
DynamicSizeMode = Content works wonderfully. Couldnt find any documentation on it's properties and must have missed it scrolling through the props in Visual Studio. My test project is now working as expected with SyncFusion components and your help is much appreciated.
Best,
