Minimized ribbon bugs

Hello,

I have found two bugs regarding the Ribbon Control. They are also visible in the Ribbon Demo Showcase.

I am using latest version 17.1.0.47.

1. When you have a contextual group and you minimize the ribbon, the lower part of the whole ribbon gets cut, which is visible after opening the specified tab.

This happens whether you have the contextual group or not, but it is not visible otherwise.

See on the image below. I have replaced the visible white space with black, which shows that the minimized ribbon has bigger space between the tab.

2. Again, when you have a contextual group and you open the backstage while the ribbon is minimized, all contextual groups get invisible and there is no option to open them, except restarting the application.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. 

  

We are working on your reported issue “Ribbon ContextTabGroups shows white space and Hidden while collapsing the Ribbon panel” with high priority. We need to fix this issue in all Visual styles of Ribbon. So, it involves more work than expected.  We will fix this and provide patch on June 25, 2019. We appreciate your patience until then.

To automatically run the Assembly Manager, please check the Run assembly manager checkbox option while installing the patch. If this option is unchecked, the patch will replace the assemblies in precompiled assemblies’ folder only. Then, you will have to manually copy and paste them to the preferred location or you will have to run the Syncfusion Assembly Manager application (available from the Syncfusion Dashboard, installed as a shortcut in the Application menu) to re-install assemblies.
