how to connect HIVE from sql workbench

Hi Team, 

have installed studio in some other server and want to connect from sql workbench , how i will do.

getting error massage since in hive jdbc dir ,  hive-jdbc-2.0.1-standalone not sure if this causing issue . 

please suggect

Hi Ajay, 

We consider that your requirement is related to ‘connecting Studio’s Hive from a different machine’. In that case, we would like to let you know that the machine where Studio is installed will have the cluster running as standalone mode (localhost) including Hive service in localhost mode. So, you cannot connect the service from outside the machine. Rather we suggest you to create new pseudo-node cluster using Syncfusion Big Cluster Manager Application and connect from outside using IP address of the Machine.
