Missing collapse/expand icon

Hello,

after update to 17.x the icon for collapse/expand group is gone. Is something changed to have it visible?

Thank you for contacting Syncfusion support. 

 

Based on the provided information, we have checked the mentioned issue “DataGrid Grouping Collapse and Expand icon not visible” with V17.1.0.38 in Xamarin.Forms and we unable to replicate the issue from our end. We have checked by collapsing and expanding the Grouping and with scroll as well, working fine in all platforms.

Please find the tested sample for your reference,

Please check the sample and let us know if you still facing the same issue? If not, please modify the sample based on your scenario and revert us with replication procedure along with the following details.  

 

·       Xamarin.Forms Version and Syncfusion update version 

·       Device configuration details  

·       Issue reproducing video (if possible) 

  

It will be helpful for us to check on it and provide you the solution at the earliest?

Thanks for the sample - it works fine but I find what cause the issue: frozen columns. Just set FrozenColumnsCount="2" for the data grid and icons disapears.

We can able to replicate the reported issue “DataGrid Group Collapse and Expand icon not visible” in Xamarin Forms Android and it is working fine in IOS and UWP platform. We logged defect report for the same, we will fix this issue and include the issue fix in our weekly nuget release which is expected to be rolled out by the end of April 23, 2019. We will let you know once it has been rolled out. We will appreciate your patience until then.

We have fixed the reported issue “DataGrid Group Collapse and Expand icon not visible” in Xamarin Forms Android and included the issue fix in our weekly NuGet update version 17.1.0.41 which is available for download (nuget.org). Our latest weekly NuGet package update also rolled out, you can also use version 17.1.0.49 as well.
