Hi, FileManager is a great new feature introduced at v17 beta , do you have any docs about.

I read release notes and i don't know this will cover my expectation.

I need only a UI filemanager interface like https://webix.com/filemanager/#!// and is possible to plug it in my own service, that´s will interface it with cloud storage services like Google drive , dropbox etc... or a old fashion sftp or use it with https://kloudless.com/products/cloud-storage/ thats integrate many cloud services.

Currently, in the beta release, only the preview of FileManager has been released. It supports accessing shared path folders present within the hosted application and local folders and includes the following functionalities, 

  • File Operations(Delete, Rename, GetDetails, NewFolder creation)
  • Download and Upload functionality
  • Sorting and searching
  • RTL
  • Localization
  • Module injection
  • In-built image viewer
  • Layout switching(Grid view, Large icons view)

Also, the documentation for FileManager will be available online in our 2019 Vol 1 Main Release.

We have planned to include the below mentioned main features and many other functionalities in our 2019 Vol 2 Main Release

  • File Operations(Cut, copy, paste)
  • Access files from storage services(Azure, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc)
  • Access files from ftp, sftp locations
  • Virtual Scrolling
  • File type restriction
  • Drag and drop
