508 Compliance for Word Reports

Hi,
We have a requirement where we need provide Alt text for images, charts and graphs and make the Word report 508 Compliance.

Does Synfusion DocIO provide support for Alt Text for images , charts and graphs.

Yes, DocIO supports to create accessible Word documents with 508 standard compliance with the directly accessible elements like text and tables, and sets alternate text for all graphical elements like images, text boxes, shapes, charts, etc. 

 

You can set alternative text for images using AlternativeText API and for charts using AlternativeText API in DocIO.
