Custom ID on itens

Hi,

I´m using FileExplorer widget with PHP SDK. The component renders as expected, no issue here.

But, I was wondering if I can set an ID to itens. I´m working with records on a database and not files on disk. This way, its harder to identify a record based on a string (name).

There´s a way to do that?

We would like to let you know that as per our current architecture, our FileExplorer works based on the File & Folder names only as same as like in windows explorer (it returns the data with File names & its details). In your scenario, the file identification differs based on the ID which leads to changes from the FileExplorer implementation. So, your requirement is not feasible. 

 

However, we considered your requirement as feature “Provide option to render FileExplorer component with files ID instead of text” and added it to our feature request list. And, this will be available in any of our upcoming releases.
