Filter by value fields and advanced filtering

I would like to be able to place a certain field into the value section and also be able to filter the grid by the items in that same field but I can't drag that field into both the value and filter boxes. Is there any way to filter by a field that is already being used in the values section? 

Also, is it possible to incorporate a filter that filters between a range of dates, such as to display rows with a date that sits between two specified dates?

Additionally, is it possible to incorporate 2 separate filters in which rows are displayed if either filter applies?  Basically an "IF/OR" filter.

Hi Travis, 

We have provided the support to filter the items based on the PivotItems (PivotRows and PivotColumns) only and we don’t have support for the below queries at present,  

• To filter the items based on the values section.  
• To filter the values between a range of dates(Advanced filtering)

But we have considered your requirement as a feature request and will be implemented in any one of our upcoming releases.
