Regarding Inline PDF editing:
Based on your query, we suspect that your requirement is to edit the text in existing PDF document which is currently not supported in Essential PDF. We have already logged this as a feature request. We don’t have any immediate plans to implement this feature. We will update you once this feature is completed.
If we have misunderstood your requirement, kindly provide us your complete scenario/ requirement which will be helpful for us to provide you a prompt solution.
Regarding Annotations:
Yes, it is possible to add annotations in an existing PDF document which is explained in the following link in detail.
