I've tried to remove it with the usual lines for Entry. It doesn't work on Android. Help please!

We are able to reproduce the issue with SfComboBox in Android platform. We havea already logged a report for the same and teh fix will be available in our Volume 3 SP1 release which will be by the end of this month [October 2018].

I don't know what you mean by "Volume 3 SP1" but when using the latest 16.3.0.21 components, the sample provided still does not seem to remove the underline when running on Android

Sorry for the inconvenience.
The reported issue “Show border property is not working in android platform” has been fixed in the 16.3.0.29 version. So please upgrade the version to 16.3.0.29 version. We have prepared the sample based on your requirement to hide the border. Please have the sample from the below link.
