The Pdf Viewer Does Not Support Arabic Search

Dear Sir/Madam,

When I checked the online demo for pdf viewer, I recognized that I can display my Arabic pdf in your viewer correctly but when I search among the pdf surprisingly it could not support it. I found out that when I want to search for an Arabic word I must write it reversely . for example when I want to find هذا I should write اذه in the box to find the word.

Would you please tell me if your component support arabic search or not ?

We were able to reproduce the issue “Text search of Arabic word not found in PdfViewer” and confirmed as a defect from our side. We will fix it and include it in our Essential studio Volume 3 SP2 release which will be rolled out in the month of November 2018.
