Can Chips be used outside of multiselect?

I'd like to use chips outside of the multi-select. Is that possible?

I see the CHIPS is on the release road map for Road Map for Essential Studio 2018 Volume 4. When does that release?

We have prepared a sample to render the Chip Component with local package for your testing purpose. Currently, the Chip Component is under development and which is expected to be rolled out on Volume 4 release by mid of December. Please refer to the below link for sample.

Extract the sample. 

npm install 

Replace the below package in node_modules/@syncfusion/ej2-buttons folder 
ej2-buttons 

npm start 

Please try out our sample and share any valuable suggestion if you need any improvement on this. We will validate your suggestions and will try to include it in Volume 4 release.
