How to ensure the default selected segment index visible on screen

Hi,
Is there any method to make the selected segment index visible on screen?
E.g.

I have 8 items in my segmented control with visible segment count set to 4. When I set the default selected index to 6. How do I ensure the selected segment index visible on screen?

Greetings from Syncfusion. 
  
Currently we don;t have support for navigating to the SegmentedItem based on the SelectedIndex to the visible area and we have to scroll manually. We have considered this as a feature and logged a feature report. This feature will be implemented in any of our upcoming Volume releases.
