Can I use rdl files created in Visual Studio 2017 with the Syncfusion Reporting Platform server?

I'd like to use the VS 2017 report designer. Can I use the .rds files produced from that with the SyncFusion Reporting Platform?
Thanks!

Hi Troy,

Yes, you can use the rdl files created in VS 2017 Report Designer with Syncfusion Report Server. In case of any shared datasource or shared dataset is used in your report design from SSRS server then you need to update those datasource and dataset to Syncfusion Report Server before uploading the report to Report Server. Please find the help link demonstrating how to manage datasources and datasets in Report Server,

Thanks for the response.  I have a report that was built in Visual Studio 2017 and is working properly when previewing in Visual Studio that doesn't work in SyncFusion Report Server or the Syncfusion Report Designer Client application.  When I try to open my dataset file in SyncFusion Report Designer client, I get this error:

"Value cannot be null. Parameter name: input"

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, I can't. The files have proprietary information in them.
