SfMaps: selecting map region from code doesn't work

Hi!

I'm trying to set selected area from code behing, using the sample code from documentation.
layer.SelectedItems.Add(..) seems to be broken.

Greetings from Syncfusion, we have checked the reported scenario, SelectedItems is working fine in Xamarin.Forms for Android and UWP. We confirm this as a defect in iOS. We have logged a defect report for this problem and the fix for this defect will be available in our Volume 3 release which is expected to be roll out on end of September,2018.
