[UWP]DragNDrop; ambiguous drop position

Hi again,
this is maybe more a personal preference...
When you start drag an Appointment in WeekView, the point used as "drop point" is the upper left corner of the moving appointment box.
So even if you drag it 99% to the next day (on the right), it still take the current day as date.

IMHO this should be more like using the center of the moving box, or even the mouse pointer would be more catchy.
Maybe this could be parameterizable?
What do you think?

Regards.

Hi Siggi Ullrich

We have checked with your query. In Schedule, the upper left corner of the dragging appointment is considered as the drop point of appointment for XForms UWP, it is the actual behavior. Currently, schedule doesn’t support to customize the drop point of the appointment.

Hi,
well, yes, thanks for your reply.
But what do you think, maybe this could be a feature request?
The actual behaviour is not intuitive.

Regards.

Hi Siggi,

Thank you for the update.

As we mentioned in previous update, for XForms (UWP) the upper left corner of the dragging appointment and for XForms (Android & iOS) midpoint of the dragging appointment is considered as the drop point in our current appointment Drag and Drop support.

We have considered to provide option to change the drop point of the dragging appointment based on cursor point like in Outlook and Google calendar for Xamarin Forms (all platform). We have logged feature report for the same and we will implement this feature in any of our upcoming Volume release.

Regards,
Deivaselvan

any news on this one?
The current behavoir in UWP is really a problem, not one single user I know likes the current implementation.
