EJ1 RTE vs EJ2 RTE

Hi,

1. I was looking at your documentation for images in EJ2 RTE: https://ej2.syncfusion.com/angular/documentation/rich-text-editor/image.html and now I wonder if it is still possible to paste the image as base64 directly to RTE (<img src="data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0K...) without any upload like in EJ1, where you could paste image directly from clipboard and it was saved to html value?

2. Is it possible to have links in EJ2 RTE, which would open with CTRL + click, just like in EJ1?

Query 1: if it is still possible to paste the image as base64 directly to RTE 

Yes, it is possible to paste the image copied from clipboard into RTE directly and it will be added in the HTML with src attribute set using base64 value of the image. But , Image paste operation works only between web applications currently, when pasted from windows it does not work. So we are considering this as a bug and fix for this issue is available in our Volume 2, SP2 release which is scheduled at 8/29/2018 
Query 2: Is it possible to have links in EJ2 RTE, which would open with CTRL + click, just like in EJ1? 

Ctrl +click is not applicable in EJ2 RTE, because we can’t open the quick access window and the new window open in the same action, since we have open the quick toolbar in the click or ctrl + click action. Please refer to the below w3c example provide the same behavior as our EJ2 RTE. 
Now you can click the link to get a toolbar and choose from various options like “open link”, “edit hyperlink”, “remove hyperlink”. So, in EJ2 RTE control its clicking two times instead of ctrl+ click to open hyperlink in new tab. Click once on the hyperlink to get the toolbar and then click on the open link icon.
