In Drag Grouping Area, Field Size of Drag Column auto increase

While Drag a Column to Grouping Area, Full Field name is not Showing, Ex. My Field Name is Creation_date, which is showing as creation_↑x .. How to show Creation_date ↑x

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support. 
 
Currently the grouped item in the GroupDropArea fits with the fixed width. SfDataGrid does not have support to fit the grouped item in GroupDropArea based on the content. We have considered your request and added this feature to our feature request list. This feature will be available in our 2018 Volume 4 release.

We are glad to announce that our Essential Studio 2018 Volume 4 Release v16.4.0.42 is rolled out and is available for download under the following link.   
 
The auto fit content for grouped items in GroupDropArea support is added to the SfDataGrid and included in this release. You can auto fit the content for group items in GrouPDropArea by using the AutoFitGroupDropAreaItem property value as true which will fit grouped items based on display text. 
 
//To auto fit the content for grouped items. 
this.sfDataGrid.AutoFitGroupDropAreaItem = true;
