Hi James,

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support.

We have checked the reported issue “Collapse all is not working” from our end. We have prepared the sample based on the information given by you. In our sample we have loaded the listview with groups and collapse all the groups in the button click. Unfortunately, the reported issue does not replicate at our end and the listview is loaded in the view as expected.

For your reference we have attached the sample and you can download it from the below link.

Can you please check whether the reported issue occurs in our sample also? If possible, can you please modify the sample to replicate the reported issue in our sample which would highly help us to analyze the query better and provide an appropriate solution.

Thanks your support,

After testing, I founded that this issue cause when set  "SfListView.LayoutManager GridLayout SpanCount="2""

i.e:
.....>
</listView:SfListView.GroupHeaderTemplate>
<listView:SfListView.LayoutManager>
     <listView:GridLayout SpanCount="2" />
</listView:SfListView.LayoutManager>
<listView:SfListView.ItemTemplate>
<....

Hi James,

Sorry for the inconvenience.

We have confirmed that the issue with “Group collapse option not worked in grid layout” is a defect and we have logged a defect report. The fix will be available in our 2018 Vol 2 SP2 which is scheduled to be roll out by the end of August. We will appreciate your patience until then.

Jayaleshwari N.
