SfPicker trying to be opened as Dialog, crashes

Environment : Android(iOS not tested),latest nuget version => I implemented a DatePicker that inherits from SfPicker, and if I show it in page by default ,it shows up without problems. But when I set the PickerMode to dialog it throws the following two exceptions when the page is being pushed to the navigation stack : 1:FileNotFoundException 2:System.Resources.MissingManifestResourceException: Could not find any resources appropriate for the specified culture or the neutral culture.  Make sure "Eliot.App.Thermostat.Resources.Syncfusion.SfPicker.XForms.resources" was correctly embedded or linked into assembly "Eliot.App.Thermostat" at compile time, or that all the satellite assemblies required are loadable and fully signed.

I built a simple app and tested there the SfPicker with Dialog mode and it works,so it must be some strange combination here that it does not like.Help would be appreciated.I attached the screenshot with the above described exception(number 2) and with the call stack

Hi Tamas,

Thank you for using Syncfusion products.

We are not able to reproduce the reported issue at our end with SfPicker control. We suspect that there may be a conflict with assemblies. A similar issue was faced by one of our customer and cleaning and clearing the .nuget cache resolved the issue faced.

Can you please close all your VisualStudio instances and clear your project bin and obj files. Also clear the packages under the below location and deploy your application.

C:\Users\$UserName\.nuget\packages

Please let us know if the faced issue with your application has been resolved or not.

Regards,
Paul Anderson

nope.Still the same.the app does not effectively crash actually, but it throws these exceptions multiple times, around 10 times, and then it continues. It adds a 3-4 sec delay though.

Hello Paul and Syncfusion Support Team,

I downloaded the Xamarin Essentials SP2 per your link and tested it on the live app. The issue is still PRESENT in Android app (picker);
This is a critical element for my app. Can you check the behavior of the control on Android and let me know the ETA for the fix.

Hi Rinat,

Sorry for the inconvenience.

We have created a Datepicker sample please check and let we know the sample is working at your end or not. In that given stack trace “ManifestResource not found” exception this may occur due missing of assemblies or nuget packages.

Please have the sample from the following link

Still, if you still face issues with the sample please clean the project and .nuget cache folders and we can have a web meeting to debug the issue faced to get the issue resolved.

Regards,
Paul Anderson
