EJ2 Grid, can use EJ Rating control to edit?

Hi,

I have an SF EJ2 .NET Core Grid which connects to my ViewBag datasource.  This data source contains a "rating" field with int values 1-5 which represent scores out of 5.

I have enabled batch editing and the int field renders as text in viewing and as a textbox in inline editing.

I'd really like to have a 5 star rating control like Esential JS 1 Rating control but I can't seem to get the two to work together and specifically dont know how to use the EJS1 Rating to update the field value in the Grid.

Im happy to use a JQuery Rating alternative if anyone has experience of doing this?

Any ideas?

Hi David, 

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support. 

We have analyzed your requirement, currently we don’t have support to edit the template column while using batch edit mode in Grid. We have considered “Batch editing is not working with template column ” as a defect and logged a report for the same and the fix will be available in any of you upcoming release.
