Yes, we can add tapped gesture to a linear gauge. We have prepared a sample by adding TapGesture to a LinearGauge and when tapped over the gauge, SymbolPointer’s value is changed from 60 to 80. Please download the sample from the below link,

Code Snippet:

           var tapGestureRecognizer = new TapGestureRecognizer();
            tapGestureRecognizer.Tapped += (s, e) =>
            {
                (s as SfLinearGauge).Scales[0].Pointers[0].Value = 80;
            };
            linear.GestureRecognizers.Add(tapGestureRecognizer);

Thanks for the response. This solution only works for me on android and not iOS. Any idea why?

Hi Caleb,

Query: Solution only works for me on android and not iOS

We have analyzed your query, for iOS TapGesture should be internally handled for UIView. Since LinearGauge control inherited from UIView, TapGestures are not handled in our current implementation. We have logged defect report regarding the same. This fix will be included in our upcoming 2018 vol 2 sp1 release which is expected to be rolled out by the mid of July 2018.

We appreciate your patience until then.

Hello, Sri Gayathri. I've run into a similar but complicated, guage-related mess that I'd like for you to address. The problem is... it's just hard for me to comprehend what is going on, and I'm literally unable to describe the issue in detail because of that (and other weird browser issues, apparently). And, if you're okay with having a conversation via email, I'd really appreciate it. And... no worries if you choose not to, of course. Anyway, thanks!
